Dear international students,
The summer vacation of 2025 is from July 3 to August 31. In order to strengthen the management and service of all international students including new international students who will register for the autumn semester of 2025, we hereby inform you of the arrangement of summer vacation and the registration for new international students of 2025 as follows:
The International Student Office hours of operation during 2025 summer vacation:
Office hours:
8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. July 9 - August 28, 2025 (Monday through Friday)

Welcome centre, School of International Education, 1st floor
Information for students who are graduates of 2025:
1.Students who have graduated should complete the dormitory check-out and deregistration and leave the school before July 31, 2025.
2.If you are admitted or hired by any institution after you graduate from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, you need to ask the institution that accept or hire you to help you apply for your visa/residence permit. Our university will not be responsible for your new visa/residence permit after your current visa/residence permit expire on July 31, 2025, and we will not be providing accommodations after you leave school by July 31, 2025.
3.Collection of graduation certificate and diploma is not available during the summer vacation. If you have any questions, please contact

Information for current students：
1.International students who live on campus during the summer vacation must pay attention to fire safety, do not illegally use high-power electrical appliances. You still have to register with the dormitory office if leave the campus for more than two days. Those who travel to visit relatives must abide by laws and regulations, strengthen personal prevention, beware of fraud, drowning and other accidents, and ensure the safety of life and property. Excessive consumption of alcohol is strongly not suggested.
2.During the vacation period, the daily services such as residence permit, certificates issuance and so on will be suspended.Students who are unable to complete the extension of their residence permit by July 7th must contact their contact teacher before July 15th.
3.Self-supporting students who need to pay the tuition, needs to get the payment account information from ISO building first floor. Accommodation fees can be paid directly at the dormitory office.
4.To check out during the summer vacation, students should apply to the dormitory office and wait for the approval of the property management center. No need to visit the International Student Office.

关于2025年暑假放假及新生报到的通知
全体国际学生：
2025年暑假放假时间为7月3日-8月31日，为加强国际学生暑期管理和服务，做好2025年秋季学期工作安排，现将暑假安排及2025年秋季学期国际学生报到相关事宜通知如下：
一、国际学生办公室值班安排
1. 时间：2025年7月9日-8月28日，周一至周五，上午8:30-11：00, 下午15:00-17:00
2. 地点：rabey雷竞技国际教育学院
二、2025届国际毕业生须知
1. 国际学生毕业、结业的，应当在2025年7月31日前办理退房、离校手续并离校。
2. 国际学生毕业后被中国境内其他单位接收继续学习或工作，应由接收单位按规定办理居留证件，在过渡时期，rabey雷竞技不办理居留证件，不提供住宿。
3. 暑假期间不领取毕业证书和学位证书，如有问题请联系 胡老师 (Natalie) nataliehu@hust.edu.cn (本科生)和吴老师yuqingwu@hust.edu.cn (研究生）。
三、在读国际学生须知
1.暑假期间校内住宿的国际学生务必注意消防安全、不得违规使用大功率电器，出入校园两天以上的需要在公寓值班室登记备案；外出探亲旅游的，务必遵守法律法规，加强个人防范，谨防诈骗、溺水等事故，确保生命财产安全。请不要过度饮酒。
2.暑假期间，国际学生办公室暂停签证办理、证明开具相关服务。未能再在7月7日完成居留许可延期的学生请务必在7月15日前联系对接院系的老师。
3. 自费生缴纳学费和住宿费的，学费缴纳需先到国际教育学院大厅咨询学校账户，住宿费直接到公寓缴纳。
4. 暑假期间学生退房直接在公寓登记，物业部门核实后方可退房，无需到ISO办理手续，暑假期间不办理换房业务。
