➭Chinese Language + AI Robot Summer School

is held by School of Mechanical Science & Engineering (MSE) of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).

It integrates traditional Chinese culture with cutting-edge technological expertise, aiming to empower international students in advancing their comprehensive knowledge and skills in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics while better understanding Chinese culture. It consists of multiple academic lectures, practical innovation training, enterprise/laboratory visits, and Chinese cultural lectures and visits, with comprehensive student evaluation system.

The International AI & Robotics Summer School 2025 has officially launched, with registration remaining highly popular since its opening. The program has attracted 109 outstanding international students from 25 universities worldwide, including RWTH Aachen University and University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, University of Birmingham in UK, ENSEA in France, and National University of Singapore, among others. Participants represent over 20 countries spanning Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including Germany, the UK, France, the United States, Spain, Hungary, Russia, Singapore, and Thailand.

➭Schedule

June 29, 2026- July 12, 2026 (2 weeks)

➭Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, and are required to submit a passport photocopy.

2. Applicants must be currently registered full-time students with engineering or related background.

(such as mechanical engineering, electronic information engineering, electrical information engineering, computer science and technology, civil engineering, materials science, transportation engineering, mechanics, and other related majors)

3. Invitation letter and visa application procedures will be notified later.

➭Fees

1. Tuition fee: 2500 CNY, including all the lectures, practical training, visits and related materials (APPROX 350USD/300EUR).

2. Accommodation fee: 350CNY/Half Month (2 weeks, double room standard) (APPROX 50USD/42EUR).

3. The living expenditure and round-trip ticket are not included.

（The final amount will be determined based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.）

Notes: HUST will assist all qualified candidates with full scholarship funding from China Scholarship Council in early 2026, which will include full tuition waiver, free on-campus accommodation (double room standard) , medical insurance, and monthly stipend. HUST will notify the scholarship results before sending final admission documents to each student.

➭Application

1. Have the following documents available: information page of valid passport, study certificate, official transcript, and resume.

2. Fill out the online Application Form  and upload above documents within the form.

Please complete your registration by March 31 2026. HUST-MSE will review your application and contact you further if you are qualified.
