2026 HUST Application Guide for International Graduate Students

➭Eligibility and Requirements

- Education background

Outstanding academic performance and potential.

Applicants for Master’s programs should have been conferred the Bachelor’s Degree, be under the age of 35;

Applicants for Doctoral programs should have been conferred the Master’s Degree, be under the age of 40.

Both should be equivalent to those of the Chinese related degrees.

- Language Proficiency

Chinese-medium Programs:

HSK 4 (Score ≥180) for Science, Engineering, Medicine.

HSK 5 (Score ≥180) for Economics, Management, Literature, Law, Education, Tongji Hospital.

HSK 5 (Score ≥200) for Union Hospital.

English-medium Programs:

TOEFL (≥80), IELTS (≥6.0), or GRE (≥310);

Equivalent certificates are accepted.

Applicants whose prior teaching language is Chinese/English do not need to provide language certificate.

- Grade Point Average

Minimum: 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or 75%.

Other equivalent grading systems are accepted.

Note:

— The above-mentioned requirements are the basic standard for all graduate applicants for HUST, not equal to the admission criteria decided by the individual school/department.

— Current students can submit an enrollment certificate as the qualification certificate. The required degree certificate must be presented at registration.

➭Application and Admission Procedures

Application Period:

October 15th, 2025 to March 1st, 2026.

Step 1.

Step 2.

Select the program, upload the Academic Documents, complete and submit your application.

Step 3.

Take the online language test in the form of objective questions.

Step 4.

After passing the test, pay the application fee.

Step 5.

The application will be forwarded to the relevant school/department for academic review.

Successful candidates will receive the Pre-admission Letter.

Step 6.

Upload the Non-Academic Documents and await the admission result.

Step 7.

The university will issue the Admission Notice and Confirmation Form for Study in China to the admitted candidates.

Note:

— The Pre-Admission Letter is a document issued by HUST to indicate that you are preliminarily accepted to study at HUST. The final decision for admission will be made by HUST International Admission Committee.

— The documents uploaded should be clear, complete, true, and valid. Incomplete or fraudulent submissions will result in rejection.

➭Application Fee

Applicants shall pay the application fee (non-refundable) of 600 CNY/100 USD upon completing the online application successfully by:

√ WeChat Pay

√ International bank card (VISA/Master)

The deadline for payment is March 1st, 2026.

Application without payment will be regarded as uncompleted.

➭Documents for Application

Part 1. Academic Documents

1. Academic Certificate

An official certificate of your highest education or the official document of enrollment issued by the current school.

Academic documents issued in the third language should be notarized in Chinese or English editions.

2. Transcripts

3. Personal Statement

Introduce yourself in details, explain your understanding of China, list the reasons and your expectations for studying at HUST.

4. Personal Introduction Video

Please record and submit a video in English or Chinese within 60 seconds.

5. CV

Including educational background, work experience, and publication list if available.

6. Study Plan/Research Proposal

More than 1,000 characters or words.

Structure: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Significance of Research, Reference.

Details: Introductory background, Research questions, Aims/Objectives, Expected Results, etc.

Future academic/career objectives (Preferred).

7. Writing sample

A written work submitted for either a grade or publication.

The paper closely related to the field of study you wish to pursue in the division would be preferred.

8. Language Proficiency Certificate

9. 2 Recommendation Letters

Signed by your former professors/associate professors.

10. Acceptance Letter issued by the prospective supervisor of HUST(optional)

(Required by some schools as indicated in the Program List).

Part 2. Non-Academic Documents

1. Passport

2. Physical Examination Form.

3. Certificate of Non-criminal Record

4. Self-funded: Financial Certification/Bank Statement (≥5,000 USD);

Scholarship: <Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship>.

Accommodation

Single Room: 1,200-1,400 CNY/month

Double Room: 700-900CNY/month

Facilities: Washing room, water heater, air conditioner, Internet, furniture.

Other expenses for reference

1. Text Books: 600 CNY/year

2. Living Expense: 1,200-2,500 CNY/month

3. Residence Permit application: 400 -800 CNY/ year

4. Physical Examination: 500 CNY

5. Insurance Premium: 800 CNY/year

6. Water, electricity and internet fee: 1,000-3,000 CNY/ year

➭Scholarship

HUST offers full scholarship to excellent applicants under the scheme of Chinese Government Scholarship, which covers tuition, accommodation, stipend and medical insurance.

After receiving the Pre-admission Letter, scholarship applicants should complete the application at Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (Visit https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn).

2026年rabey雷竞技国际研究生项目申请指南

➭申请条件

- 学历要求：

申请人需学习成绩优秀，且具备学术潜力。

申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有学士学位或同等学力，年龄不超过35周岁；

申请攻读博士学位者，应当具有硕士学位或同等学力，年龄不超过40周岁。

- 语言能力：

汉语授课项目：

理工医学类：汉语水平考试HSK4级180分或以上

经管人文类，同济医院：汉语水平考试HSK5级180分或以上

协和医院：汉语水平考试HSK5级200分或以上：

英语授课项目：

需具备良好的英语听说读写能力。

- 达到托福80分，GRE310分，雅思6.0及以上分数；

- 或已获得了被rabey雷竞技认可的其他相关语言成绩证明。

申请人前置教育授课语言为汉语/英语的，无需提供语言证明。

- 平均学分绩点：

4分制达到3分以上；

5分制达到3.75分以上；

100分制达到75分以上。

鉴于不同国家的评分体系有差异，我校接受GPA系统或其他等效系统的成绩。

备注：

以上是对我校国际研究生项目申请人的基本要求，并不等同于由各个院系自行决定的录取标准。
目前在读的学生可提交在学证明作为学历证明。如果被正式录取，应在到校注册时携带学位证书原件。

➭申请及录取流程

申请开放日期：2025年10月15日

申请截止日期：2026年3月1日

申请步骤：

1. 登录rabey雷竞技国际学生招生与管理服务系统

网址：http://admission.hust.edu.cn/

2. 选择申请类别和专业，上传学术类申请材料，确认无误后提交申请；

3. 完成在线语言测试；

4. 通过测试后，缴纳申请费；

5. 学校将对申请材料进行学术审核。通过审核的申请人将收到预录取通知；

6. 上传非学术类申请材料，提交申请并等待录取结果。

7. 学校将向确认录取的学生发出《录取通知书》及《外国留学人员来华确认表》。

备注：

● 预录取通知是我校为通过学术审核的申请人发出的文件，不等同于正式的录取通知书。最终的录取结果需由我校国际招生委员会确定。

● 上传的文件应清晰、完整、真实、有效；

● 录取结果将通过正式邮件通知，届时请关注邮件。

➭申请费

在提交在线申请后，申请人需缴纳申请费600元人民币或100美元，可通过中国银联，支付宝，微信支付，国际银行卡（VISA/Master）进行线上支付。

申请费缴纳的截止时间为2026年3月1日。未按时缴费的申请将被视为未完成，不予受理。

➭申请材料

学术类申请材料：

1. 经公证的最高学历证明：如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明；非中文或英文版本的学历资料，须附经公证的中文或英文翻译件；

2. 学习成绩单；

3. 个人陈述：详细介绍自己对中国的认知，来华学习动机和进入rabey雷竞技的学习规划等；

4. 自我介绍视频：时长60秒以内的中文或英文自我介绍；

5. 个人简历：包括教育背景、工作经历及发表的论文列表（如有）；

6. 研究计划：字数1000 字以上，用中文或者英文书写。

结构：标题、摘要、引言、文献综述、方法论、研究意义、参考文献。具体可包括：介绍背景、研究问题、目的/目标、预期结果，未来的学术/职业目标等；

7. 写作样本：可提交学期论文或已发表的论文等。内容与申请学科或研究方向紧密相关则将被优先审阅；

8. 语言水平证明；

9. 2封推荐信：由2名教授或副教授出具的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

10. rabey雷竞技导师接收信（部分院系要求申请人务必提交此接收信，详见招生专业目录）。

非学术类申请材料：

1. 护照；

2. 外国人体格检查表；

3. 无犯罪记录证明；

4. 自费申请请上传资金证明:5000美元及以上；奖学金申请请上传《中国政府奖学金申请表》。
