2026 HUST Application Guide for Short-term Chinese Culture Program

➭ Program Introduction

Short-Term Chinese Culture Program (1-4 weeks) offers an immersive introduction to Chinese culture and contemporary society through a dynamic blend of lectures, seminars, and hands-on activities. It is ideally suited for individuals interested in China but with little or no prior visit experience.

Through this multi-faceted immersion, participants gain direct and vivid exposure to various aspects of China, leaving with a rich, objective impression of its glorious cultural heritage and rapidly evolving modern identity.

Since its launch in 2010, we have successfully collaborated with partner universities from France, the UK, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Indonesia, Thailand, and Mongolia. To date, the program has welcomed over 1,000 international students.

The program features a diverse and engaging curriculum, carefully designed to balance learning, cultural practice, and recreation. Core components include:

Chinese language learning
Lectures on Chinese Culture & Society
Chinese Cultural Workshops: A popular series of hands-on sessions where students can learn traditional arts, such as: making Jiaozi-Chinese dumplings, writing Chinese characters with Chinese writing brush, learning paper cutting, making Chinese knot, learning Taijiquan -Chinese shadowboxing, appreciating Zheng Performance- a traditional Chinese musical instrument)
Social & Sports Activities (Including welcome/farewell parties and friendly sports matches with Chinese students etc.)
Sightseeing in Wuhan (visiting Yellow Crane Tower and Hubuxiang Lane, Yangtze River, Hubei Provincial Museum, East Lake etc.)

These activities have proven to be exceptionally popular and highly praised by past participants.

➭ Eligibility and Requirements

1. Be non-Chinese citizens and hold a valid foreign passport;
2. Be aged between 16 and 35 years old by September 1, 2026.
3. Have no criminal record and be in good physical and mental health and maintain good academic and behavioral standing;
4. Be friendly toward China, and comply with Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules of HUST.

➭ Application and Admission Procedures

Application Deadlines:

May 31, 2026 (For July Intake)
October 31, 2026 (For December Intake)

The program shall be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with at least 15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with HUST. Application through the e-mail：cindywys@hust.edu.cn.

➭Documents for Application
1. A scanned copy of the passport photo page.
2. Official certificate of the highest education or an official enrollment document from the current institution.
3. Guardian Documents (for applicants under 18): Certified documents signed by the appointed legal guardian(s) in China.

Note: All application documents must be in Chinese or English. Documents in other languages must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations.

2026年rabey雷竞技短期文化研修项目招生简章

➭项目介绍

短期文化研修项目（1-4周）：旨在通过讲座、研讨会和实践活动等丰富的形式向学生介绍和展示中国文化和概况。该项目专为对中国感兴趣但没有来过中国的学生开设。学生可以直接生动地体验中国社会的方方面面，感受灿烂的中国文化和真实的中国形象。

自2010年起，rabey雷竞技先后与法国、英国、美国、澳大利亚、新西兰、挪威、印度尼西亚、泰国、蒙古等国的高校开展短期汉语进修项目合作。截至目前，已有超过1000名国际学生加入此类项目。该项目课程内容十分丰富，包括：汉语学习，中国文化讲座，中华才艺展示（包饺子、写毛笔字、学习剪纸、做中国结、学习太极拳、欣赏古筝等），文体活动（中外学生联欢会）、体育竞赛，武汉城市观光（黄鹤楼、户部巷、长江、湖北省博物馆、东湖等），这些活动深受国际学生喜爱和欢迎。

➭申请资格

1. 非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照；

2. 年龄16-35周岁（截至2026年9月1日）；

3. 无犯罪记录且身心健康；

4. 遵守中国法律法规及校纪校规。

申请截止日期：

7月入学：2026年5月31日

12月入学：2026年10月31日

需由推荐机构组团通过邮件cindywys@hust.edu.cn进行报名申请并与我校确定在华学习计划，每团至少15人。
